First off, Id like to thank the reviewer who wrote in and made me aware of this rounding glitch. It is unquestionably a nasty one. He is correct in his assessment and I feel his pain sevenfold. I have been using this app (version 1) for years myself and Im pleasantly surprised to know that I wasnt the only one that values this functionality. That said, the problem has been fixed; it had crept in at the last moment (yes, after testing) so it wasnt hard to locate (once I removed palm from face). A new build (2.0.1) has been submitted and hopefully it will be fast-tracked so look out for it, NOTE I can discuss a faster fix to users who contact me through the support page link. I really try to be responsive to all problems, big or small. Feel free to contact me anytime. Averaging out the magnitude of the mistake (0 - hate it) and time-to-respond (5 - great) Id give it a neutral rating this time around (since I have to rate it to comment)

Excellente!!!! It really help me a lot. Easy to use. Inmediate conversion. Excellent price. I have been looking for such an application for a long time. Nothing that I tried before really worked until now. 4.75 stars **** Frederick Cortes San Juan PR

I really hoped this app would work but I have been unable to get it to format correctly as of yet meaning it will not import into quickbooks 2010 at all because it said that the date isnt formatted the corect way. I have contacted them through email and waited for a responce for some time but still to date have yet to receive a response. fix it and i will give it five stars.

Beyond the simple mapping issues mentioned in previous reviews (payee in memo line), The software fails to add "Account", marking it as "uncategorized" At this stage, not very useful

The world badly needs an app that does what Quiff purports to do, but unfortunately the app suffers from a few elementary but crippling bugs. It maps some fields incorrectly, as another reviewer noted, which is sort of forgiveable assuming all the data makes it through to the export, because you could massage it in a spreadsheet. However I also found that all the records in my export also lacked the transaction date, making the entire thing useless and non-repairable.

Version 3.0 incorrectly rounds transaction items so that the import is no good. Until this bug is fixed, I am compelled to give this app a tragic 1 star. IF that bug was fixed, this is easily a 5 star app. Ive emailed support. Once a fix appears, Ill gladly change this review. Until then … move along, nothing to see here.

Just installed this application and opened a QIF file made with QIF Master. File seems to display OK, looking like a Quicken spreadsheet. This is helpful to me, in itself, for learning about the QIF format. However, the “Options, Save As” etc bar at the bottom of the default window does not move when the window is resized, leaving it displayed on top of the QIF statement display, or disappearing altogether. This sort of junior-programmer bug is not acceptable in a ten dollar app. Mavericks on iMac 27.

I bought this app today to convert a .QIF file to a .IIF file. Imagine my surprise when it couldn’t do that! $9.99 down the toilet in less that 5 minutes. I don’t know exactly what this app does, but it doesn’t seem to do what the cool graphic above says it will do.

QUIFF is simply the best QIF to IIF file converter in the market. It is well worth the price. I have bought every other option on Mac and Windows and compared the output IIF files using BBEdit. QUIFF gives you the cleanest, clearest, and best conversions. It is simply better than the competition. It is also rock solid and reliable. Doing this conversion is MISSION CRITICAL when doing accounting and taxes for my companies so that I do not have to enter the data by hand. Cost is actually not an issue - particularly when my accountant charges $300+ an hour. QUIFF allows you to reduce the work the accountant has to do - saving a huge amount of money. QUIFF is very inexpensive for what it does. I deal with several banks. Many do not export IIF files useable by Quickbooks Pro. QUIFF easily coverts their QIF files to IIF files. You can use either 2-character or 4-character date QIF files. The only problem I have is with the banks. On rare occasions, some banks will create QIF files with errors. Generally this may occur with large date ranges - e.g. 18 months of data. Every QIF to IIF converter will choke on these files or create IIF files with errors. My solution is to reconfigure the banks options for the output QIF file (e.g. reducing the date range). Then repeatedly create new output QIF files until you get one that is error free and is easily converted to IIF by QUIFF. BEST FEATURE: The OPTIONS BUTTON allows you to specify to which account in Quickbooks Pro you will import the IIF file. This is an invaluable feature. Simply enter the exact name of the account you want in Quickbooks Pro and it will be registered in the IIF file. This option makes importing IIF files very very easy. All you have to do is double click the converted IIF File and Quickbooks Pro does the rest. Easy. Its ALIVE! I am very happy that Vaughn Cordero, the developer, has actively updated QUIFF in the limited time he has. Thank you!
